Perhaps you are struggling with the challenges and heartbreaking diagnosis of a child with autism. If you are like our family, you are probably confused and feel like you have lost your footing. You may feel frustrated, scared, and alone. We hope that you will find comfort in knowing that we have been where you are today. We have experienced the darkness of the unknown and through our relationship with God, we have found PEACE and a PURPOSE. These are a few scriptures written in God’s word that have given us great comfort and we hope that in sharing them with you, you will find your way with the help of Him and that you will realize above all things, that you are NOT alone.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  (Psalm 139:14)

Blessed is the person who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. (James 1:12)
The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17)

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. (Romans 12:12)

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

Jesus said: ‘Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name, you welcome me.’  (Matthew 18:5)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

The LORD is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made. The LORD upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. (Psalm 145:13-14)

But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its root by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

“Those who love me I will deliver, I will protect those who know my name. When they call to me, I will answer them; I will be with them in trouble, I will rescue them and honor them. With long life I will satisfy them, and show them my salvation. (Psalm 91:14-16 )
