Early intervention…Time is the Enemy.

Common knowledge says that parents whose child has been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder should run -- not walk -- to a specially trained therapist. Early intensive intervention, it is said, is the key to “optimal outcomes” for autistic children. Scientists have long known that the brain grows quickly between the ages of zero and three, which suggests that early intervention is essential in treating this childhood disorder.

Specialized and intense therapy from an Occupational Therapist who is trained in sensory processing disorders is the first step towards real and lasting help for your child.

Other therapies may be prescribed as well. Many children who are in the autism spectrum benefit greatly from Speech-Language Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Listening Therapy, and Hippotherapy, just to name a few of those that have been used with Brady.
